Strengthening Community Bonds: Monterey and Laurieton United Services Club
At Monterey, fostering strong community relationships is a priority, and our bond with Laurieton United Services Club (LUSC) reflects this spirit perfectly. Recently, a local Monterey resident shared a heartwarming message about Robert Dwyer, the manager at LUSC, and his commitment to making our community members feel welcome and appreciated.
Each Tuesday night, an enthusiastic group of Monterey residents gather for music bingo at LUSC—a weekly highlight for many. To accommodate our growing numbers, Robert now reserves a dedicated table for Monterey, allowing everyone to sit together and enjoy the event in great company. This thoughtful gesture shows the club’s genuine care for our residents.
In addition, whenever the free raffle is drawn, and a Monterey resident wins, the announcement is made with a special acknowledgment of our community. It’s not just about the prizes—it’s the feeling of belonging and being recognized that truly resonates with our residents.
These small but meaningful gestures speak volumes about the positive relationship between Monterey and LUSC. We’re grateful to Robert and the LUSC team for going the extra mile to look after us, making each visit memorable. Attached is a photo of our reserved table as a token of this wonderful camaraderie.
Thank you, LUSC, for embracing Monterey with such warmth and hospitality. We look forward to many more shared moments.
